Executive Search
At
the heart of Ken Clark International’s services is executive
search. Through a defined, proven process, we are able to recruit
the most talented executives from the most attractive recruiting
targets.
History has proven that investment in search planning
leads to successful search projects. As such, every one of our projects
begins with a search-planning meeting to gather the necessary information
to draft a Search Plan. This Search Plan discussion includes strategic
information regarding the project, including:
- Client Description
- Position description
- Candidate qualifications
- Recruiting Targets
- Key Selection Factors
- Compensation qualifications
- Career potential
Once drafted, the Search Plan is forwarded to our
client for final approval, to solidify search strategy. The Search
Plan communicates the message of the search project to potential
candidates.
Using a proprietary database, library research, and
original research, consultants immediately begin researching, contacting,
screening and developing potential candidates. Details of potential
candidates who, upon an in-depth screening of their employment information,
are qualified and interested in the position are developed. In addition,
we interview and evaluate each separate potential candidate soon
after your initial feedback.
Candidate Evaluation Report I focuses specifically
on the critical factors necessary for the position as defined in
the Search Plan. Using a Focused Interview Guide, consultants’
assess personal background, education, employment, compensation,
career potential, and management and leadership skills, abilities
and style of the candidates. This evaluation provides the detail
necessary for our clients to select candidates to meet for the first
time. Ken Clark International assists clients in scheduling meetings
with these Finalist Candidates.
Prior to a second interview, Finalist candidates
prepare a KCI Self-Evaluation of professional accomplishments, professional
strengths and weaknesses, career planning and challenges and obstacles
to accepting a potential employment offer. This is included in the
Candidate Evaluation II report which also contains verification
of educational and professional credentials, as well as employment
and compensation history. Upon selection, Ken Clark International
again provides assistance in scheduling finalist candidates to meet
with you and others that you determine.
Once a finalist candidate is chosen, Ken Clark International
will thoroughly check employment and personal references. Upon your
request, we also coordinate pre-employment investigative checks
including: education and professional qualifications; employment
history; financial history and legal history. Ken Clark International
prefers to conduct references and coordinate checks prior to extending
an employment offer.
Our consultants will also assist you in recruiting
the lead candidate to the extent that you desire our active involvement.
Ken Clark International can help you construct, present and explain
a competitive Employment Offer based on realistic market data and
your companies compensation strategy.
Finally, Ken Clark International acts as an intermediary
to change, adjust, or gain acceptance for to the initial Employment
Offer. Throughout this part of the Search Process, we represent
our clients and act in accordance with their directions. Once the
Chosen Candidate accepts your Employment Offer, we continue to work
to ensure a smooth transition to your company.
Throughout the entire search project, Ken Clark International
not only has regular telephone discussions with you, but also provides
a weekly Search Project Update, every Friday afternoon. |
