Medrad Inc. announces Mr. Jian Wu as the new Commercial Director-China effective January 1, 2008. Mr. Wu previously was the Business Manager for Siemens Medical. Medrad makes medical devices used in diagnostic imaging that provide doctors with an inner view of the human body.

Syngenta AG declares Mr. Guang Bai as the new Head of Technology effective January 1, 2008. Mr. Bai previously was the Technical Manager for Rhodia. Syngenta produces crop protection products (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides), field crop seeds (soybeans), vegetable seeds (corn, beans, tomatoes), and flowers.

Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc. appoints Mr. Daryl Han as the new Sales Manager-Composites effective January 14, 2008. Mr. Han previously served as the Sales Manager for Unitrans Pacific. Hexion Specialty Chemicals is the world's largest thermosetting resins maker. Mr. Han will be located in Singapore.

Anika Therapeutics Inc. names Andy Carter, PhD as the new Chief Technology Officer effective January 28, 2008. Dr. Carter previously was the Vice President & General Manager-Motion Technologies for Spine Wave. Anika Therapeutics uses hyaluronic acid, a natural polymer extracted from rooster combs and other sources, to make products that treat bone, cartilage, and soft tissue.
