The

is the concept of a mini-search project.
In most organizations, the search for executive talent
begins internally. Once complete, most companies partner with a
search firm through a necessity to recruit external talent. Frequently,
these two processes are performed sequentially; losing time, money,
and performance. Having observed this trend within the industry,
Ken Clark International created the concept of a mini-search project.
The mini-search is most often used when internally
generated candidates have already been identified. Due to the presence
of internal candidates, the volume of candidates is less and the
timetable of the search is accelerated. Through the structure of
a mini-search, we are able to complete our Search Plan and develop
and evaluate external candidates with the same process of a normal
search project.
The benefits are speed, efficiency, and a more limited
investment. In addition, by working in parallel, there is a confidence
that the position will be filled on time whether through internal
or external efforts. |
