Wolfgang Jürgen Wagner is Regional
President for Ken Clark International (KCI) based in Dusseldorf,
Germany.
In his role, Wolfgang spends his time serving clients in recruiting
key executives in the lifesciences, consumer, scientific products
and chemicals area with particular focus on Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology
and Biopharmaceutical companies.
He has 30 years of experience in the lifesciences industry working
for Hoechst, Hoechst Marion Roussel and Aventis Pharma. His track
record includes positions like Head of the Pharmaceutical Division
of Hoechst Turkey, Regional Manager Near-Middle- and Fareast,
CEO of Handok Remedia Korea, Managing Director of Aventis Australia
and New Zealand and Vice President of Aventis Pharma South Asia.
Wolfgang's functional experience extends across research & development,
clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, quality assurance, new product
development, business development, sales, marketing, human resources,
finance and general management.
A long-time focus and passion of Wolfgang is Human Resources -
to identify, attract, develop and retain top talent. He spearheaded
for Aventis the introduction of performance management, succession
planning, talent development and organizational development processes
and programs.
Wolfgang, born in Wiesbaden / Germany, has spent roughly 15 years
of his professional life in Germany and has lived and managed for
almost 20 years in diverse cultures outside of Germany, mostly
in Asia and the Middle East.
Wolfgang holds a degree in Economics of the University of Mainz.
