
Ruth Hall serves as vice president of the United Kingdom and Ireland for Ken Clark International from the firm’s London-Berkshire office in the United Kingdom. She joined KCI in 2006.
Ruth has executed top-level placements in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Near East, Africa, Iran and Pakistan for the top five multi-national organizations.
Her industry experience has enabled her to gain a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical process from discovery through patient, including the roles played by various business functions within the process. She has broad knowledge across many functional areas including research, discovery, drug development, medical affairs, clinical operations, sales and marketing, finance, business development and human resources.
Previous Experience. Ruth held the position of outsourcing project manager for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), gaining significant experience in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry. Ruth established effective working partnerships within multi-disciplinary project teams ensuring on-time delivery of all projects and solving technical issues that facilitated the development of successful strategies within the clinical trials supplies (CTS) development path.
Ruth was responsible for the outsourcing and management of global clinical trial projects for multiple blockbuster compounds phase II, III and IV in accordance with GSK business strategy. She was accountable for developing successful collaborations and opening clear lines of communication between clinical partners and the delivering supplies teams, ensuring study requirements were met for global clinical groups.
Part of her role was to evaluate UK service providers by establishing sound working relationships and gaining a full understanding of their organizations, processes and systems plus generating and implementing technical and service agreements with a number of clinical research organizations.
In addition, Ruth actively contributed to continual process improvements within the CTS department, writing procedural documents and delivered appropriate training to staff as part of the integration between GlaxoWellcome and SmithKline Beecham.
