
Neill Shanahan serves as vice president of the Midwest region for Ken Clark International from the firm’s suburban Chicago office in Illinois. Neill is responsible for business development with clients of KCI in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. He joined KCI in 2009.
Previous Experience. Prior to joining KCI, Neill spent 10 years with Akorn, Inc. as vice president of human resources, providing HR leadership for a $90 million, publicly traded, specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer. Akorn is a niche pharmaceutical company engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of multi-source and branded pharmaceutical products. Prior to Akorn, Neill served with a unit of Eastman Kodak as head of human resources for its western region which consisted of twenty five photofinishing plants and over five thousand employees. Neill began his career in industry as manager of human resources and labor relations with Emery Worldwide Inc., a subsidiary of CNF Inc.
Education. Neill has a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and a Master of Business Administration in management from Fordham University.
