James (Jim) Crawford serves as Regional President-Midwestern
United States. Jim is also responsible for building the Medical
Products practice for Ken Clark International (KCI). He is charged
with the task of business development and marketing, client management,
and project execution for the Central United States.
Previous to joining KCI, Jim was Vice President of People Services
for Argent Healthcare Financial Services. Argent, backed by venture
capital investment giant, GTCR, is a national healthcare business
processes outsourcing company. While at Argent, Jim integrated six
companies and provided leadership that ultimately resulted in a
successful merger of equals.
Prior to joining Argent, Jim was the Vice President of Human Resources
for the Chas. Levy Company, a $1billion wholesale supplier of books,
magazines and other entertainment media to retail and mass merchandising
customers. During his tenure, he managed the human resources integration
of Levy’s acquired companies and co-led a complete restructuring
of the business in the face of intense competition and consolidation.
His experience in managing the HR function of a major company during
a time of rapid consolidation brings tremendous value to the workplace.
Before working with Chas. Levy, Jim served as Vice President of
Human Resources for Eon Labs, a developer and marketer of generic
pharmaceutical products. His contributions included recruitment
of senior management and a total restructuring of compensation and
benefit systems to support the entrepreneurial environment which
ultimately reduced operating expenses by 15% over three years.
Jim also has experience in leadership roles with Fujisawa Pharmaceutical
and began his career in human resources with American Hospital Supply
Corporation/Baxter Healthcare where he was responsible for HR management
of Baxter’s Operating Room Division and 10,500 domestic and
international employees.
Jim earned his Masters of Business Administration from Lake Forest
Graduate School of Management and his Bachelors of Business Administration
from Boise State University.
