Chiharu Arai serves as Regional President of Japan
and Industry President responsible for building the global Consumer
Practice for Ken Clark International (KCI). She is charged with
the task of business development and marketing, client management,
and project execution internationally.
Chiharu has close to 25 years global experience in diverse industries
and has held leadership roles with major multinationals such as
The Walt Disney Company, Citibank, Revlon, Philip Morris, Young
& Rubicam, and Leo Burnett.
Previous positions include Revlon, Regional Vice President of
Business Development and Marketing/Asia Pacific; Citibank, Vice
President of Retail Bank Marketing; Moschino, Japan Managing Director;
and The Walt Disney Company, Regional Director Strategic Marketing
& Corporate Synergy/Asia Pacific.
Through her background as a Japanese national who grew up in the
United States and consequently returned to live and work in Asia,
Chiharu has a deep understanding and appreciation of business practices
across various cultures. Chiharu graduated from the University of
Pennsylvania with degrees in Economics, International Relations
and Asian Studies.
