Bonnie Sharps is a Regional President located in Ken
Clark International’s (KCI) Princeton office. She is leading
KCI’s efforts in the Health Care, Life Sciences, Medical Devices
& Diagnostics and Advanced Technology industries.
Bonnie has spent over 26 years in Health Care / Information Technology
with Shared Medical Systems (SMS) and Siemens Medical. Her various
roles have ranged from Sales, Marketing, Product Development and
Business Development to Vice President / General Manager.
At SMS, Bonnie rose through Software Implementations,
Account Management and Sales to become the Regional Vice President.
Later, as Vice President/Software Development she directed more
than 250 employees in building software and technology infrastructures
for product development. In addition, Bonnie led SMS’ Year
2000 (Y2K) project for their worldwide clientele and product sets.
SMS awarded her an Employee Excellence Award for her outstanding
achievement.
In May 2000, SMS was bought by Siemens and Bonnie
was one of only four people from the SMS Executive Team to be part
of the international integration team that would oversee the merger.
Several months ahead of schedule the phase one integration was achieved
successfully. Bonnie then became a General Manager over the physician
office business. She was responsible for the division’s P&L
and all Product Development, Third Party Product Acquisition, Sales,
Marketing and Professional & Customer Service performance.
In November 2002, Bonnie left Siemens and worked with
the Philadelphia incubator of start-up companies: The Science Center.
As an Executive in Residence (EIR), a program she helped design,
Bonnie assisted more than thirty companies grow their business to
new levels.
In April 2003, she joined i3ARCHIVE Inc. as Vice President
of Business Development & Marketing. Bonnie raised more than
$1.2M in angel money, hired a sales team, designed marketing programs
and concluded distribution and marketing contracts with GE and Siemens.
In June 2004, Bonnie left i3ARCHIVE and once again
devoted her efforts to the creation of a new Health Care business
venture.
In addition to her active role in various for-profit
enterprises, Bonnie has found time to be very active in the non-profit
world. She is a board member of Carelift International and is also
an active member of the Forum of Executive Women. Bonnie holds a
Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts from Arcadia University and a Masters
from Temple University in Business Administration and in Healthcare
Administration.
